Come “Discover Your Inner Cowgirl” at Sylvan Dale’s Cowgirl Roundup! Come alone or with a friend! Bring your mom, your aunt, your sister, your daughter, your best friend, your neighbor, your coworker, your favorite cowgirl, but NO guys! This unforgettable stay is for ladies only.

Making friendships with other “cowgirls” and bonding with your Sylvan Dale horse makes this adventure a top of the “bucket list” experience!

Horse time goes beyond riding time to lots of hands-on opportunities. If you choose, you can groom and tack your horse (once approved by the head wrangler) every morning and unsaddle and turn out at the end of the day. Working with your horse in this manner allows for more bonding time.

Build Your Riding Skills

Take advantage of ability-level riding instruction from our wranglers. You’ll then be able to use the skills you’ve learned on adventure rides, team penning, the High Stakes Poker Ride, and the Overnight Pack Trip (except late September).

But…don’t think that you have to be an experienced rider to enjoy a great horse experience. Our riding program speaks to all ability levels and we will partner you with just the right mount.

We appreciate the need to gear down from busy and complicated lifestyles. Therefore, cowgirl relaxation is high on the list. Relax and reflect with a quiet walk along the river or head down to Cottonwood Gulch and get lost in the pages of your favorite book. Spend time doing yoga followed by listening to the river flow.
